Michelle J. Picard is an active investor in early stage companies, several of which are headquartered in Wisconsin. With more than 20 years of industry experience, Ms. Picard recently retired from her position as principal, Portfolio Manager, and Investment Strategy Group member at Henderson Geneva Capital Management. She joined Geneva Capital Management in 1999, which was later acquired by Henderson Global Investors in 2014. Ms. Picard co-managed more than $6 billion in assets under management, focusing on a high-quality, fundamental research approach. Her team of co-managers oversaw two sub-advised growth equity mutual funds for Nationwide, as well as a portfolio of separately managed accounts for institutional and high-net worth clients. Prior to joining Geneva, Ms. Picard worked for Strong Capital Management. Ms. Picard graduated Summa Com Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
