Joey’s career started in the private financial world before transitioning to economic development and working to support high growth companies. Joey works to implement WEDC’s efforts to support entrepreneurship, innovation, and investment in early-stage companies through the division of Entrepreneurship and Innovation. The division operates a number of programs and partnerships that aim to support not only business directly, but also the ecosystem and support networks that they need to grow and succeed. Specifically Joey manages the Qualified New Business Venture and Technology Development Loan programs geared towards high growth companies looking to raise capital from investors to grow and scale.
